A Love for Jewelry & Design
Always on a quest to find beauty and meaning, the art and spirit of jewelry making found me as a teenager.
It began in a high school silver smithing class in 1977 & continued after graduation with an apprenticeship in my tiny home town in Massachusetts.
My teenage wanderlust led me on a 20+ year road trip from the shores of Cape Cod, to WA, the desert & mesas of AZ, arroyos of Santa Fe, and the mountains of Montana.
Living in each of these places provided inspiration & the opportunity for me to pursue my path of self-taught jewelry making.
After moving back to Cape Cod in 1998 (with two kids in tow), I started Heart at Work Jewelry in earnest and also wound up being a craft show producer for over 20 years.
Over the decades, I’ve come to understand that by fulfilling my dream of creating beautiful jewelry, I was also serendipitously forming an incredible community of women & a sisterhood by deeply connecting with my customers & creating lasting friendships.
Heart at Work Jewelry reflects years of inquisitive travel, the elegance of nature, and a spiritual journey that is infused into every handcrafted piece.
